Zack now lives in Florida and works for Enterprise and Josh is working on his Master's Degree in Business, so I am trying to adjust to an "empty nest". On a personal note, I have two boys, Zack and Josh, and a husband, Mark. This is my 6th year as principal of CES! I work with great teachers, assistants, custodial engineers, specialists, secretaries, volunteers, students, and families! My focus this year is on Relationships, Rigor, Relevance, and Reflective Practices that enhance student learning each and every day. I was there for four years and then became the Assistant Principal at Centreville Middle School, where I served for three years. I was the Teacher Specialist at Sudlersville Elementary for five years, before moving to Sudlersville Middle School as the Assistant Principal. This is my 30th year in education, and I am honored to serve as Principal of Centreville Elementary School! I was an elementary school teacher in Talbot County for 12 years before moving to Queen Anne's County in 2004-2005.

Helping to guide and prepare our students for the future is a real challenge and one that requires the involvement of us all. We continue to stay very busy with our lives outside of school, with travel soccer, softball, baseball, heading to the beach or pool on summer days, and most importantly, for us, being with our friends and family.Ĭentreville is a wonderful community. It was the best time of our lives with our closest friends and family, especially since one of my favorite things is the beach and being outside by the water. He and I got married in the summer of 2016, on the beautiful beaches of Playa Conchal, Costa Rica. My husband Josh and I have two beautiful children, Hayleigh and Mason. I was born and raised here in Queen Anne’s County and was fortunate enough to be a product of our Queen Anne’s County school system, a graduate from Queen Anne’s County High School 2005. I was a first grade teacher here at CES, and now I am currently loving life teaching prekindergarten. Hello to all CES families!
